I found this book informative because I liked the tips about detangling and conditioning. Grow It walks you through a simple six step process to help you understand which actions contribute to ggrow healthy length and which actions do not. First, it is disorganized and very repetitive. Great book with a lot of information. While I think this book is a great jumping off point for someone who has recently gone natural, as far as rudimentary information and different techniques to try I feel as if this book was mostly just Chicoro describing techniques that worked for her own hair.

It ir lots of good tips and information. Sometimes the best advice comes not from experts and professionals but from someone who has trodden a path and gained experience, wisdom and understanding along the way that has tremendous merit and value. Who says afro-textured hair can’t grow long? I speak English, Spanish, Japanese and French.
